I'm a writer, storyteller, wife, mom to 3 boys, and corporate escape artist in progress. 

For years, I 've worked in healthcare climbing the ladder and chasing what I thought success was supposed to look like. The truth? It's overrated, unless it's truly where you want to be. What I've learned is that there are always other trails to take, and it's never too late to explore them. I'm soaking up my 40s, still knocking out my 8 to 5, and determined to build a life that makes space for creativity, writing, and adventure. 

Rise & Shine You is where I make that journey public. It's my portfolio for freelance and ghostwriting, a home for my own essays, and the future home of my podcast where I'll spotlight everyday people who are living their unconventional lives. Not just one narrative, but stories that remind us that success and fulfillment don't have to look the same for everyone.  

Outside of writing and work, I'm at the football field, baseball field, or wrestling mat cheering on my three boys. When I do get to step away, you'll find me outdoors, reading, chasing trails, planning the next adventure, and collecting the kind of stories that don't fit neatly into a niche or spreadsheet. Writing and adventure are how I make sense of the world, and I'm here to share that with anyone ready to write their own story, too.
